Request to Audit Course
Canadian Student Information
Interested students must first receive permission from the Course Director to take the course prior to registering by completing the form with the following information:

Your personal information (Name, University and Department, Student ID Number, Program, year and level of study (i.e. MSc, PhD, special student, other)

Your Supervisor’s information (Name and e-mail address)

Required: A brief description (200 words or less) on i) your interest in taking this course, and ii) the relation of your research project to regenerative medicine. A regenerative medicine project is required in order to apply.
Once approval has been granted, you will be able to register for credit in one of 6 ways:

Student at the University of Toronto: Student can add the course in ROSI (ACORN) and the Institute of Medical Science (IMS) will approve. No further action is required. If you are not part of the IMS, an email to your graduate department will be sent to approve.

Students at an Ontario University: Approved students must complete an Ontario Visiting Graduate Student Form (OVGS) to enroll in the course without paying additional tuition. This form can be obtained from your Graduate Department. As this process takes time, it is strongly recommended to begin the process as early as possible to be enrolled prior to course start date of September 5, 2024.

Students attending McGill University, Université de Montréal, and University of British Columbia: You must complete a Graduate Exchange Agreement without paying additional tuition. This form can be obtained by your Graduate Department. As this process takes time, it is strongly recommended to begin the process as early as possible to be enrolled prior to course start date of September 5, 2024.

Students attending University of Calgary: You must obtain a Letter of Permission from your Graduate department without paying additional tuition. As this process takes time, it is strongly recommended to begin the process as early as possible to be enrolled prior to course start date of September 5, 2024.

Students attending a Canadian University: Approved students must complete an Canadian University Graduate Transfer Agreement (CUGTA) to enroll in the course without paying additional tuition. This form can be obtained from your Graduate Department. As this process takes time, it is strongly recommended to begin the process as early as possible to be enrolled prior to course start date of September 5, 2024.

Non-Degree Graduate Student: IMS will only permit individuals who would be otherwise admissible as graduate students in the School of Graduate Studies.
Approved students (with at least a mid-B standing in their undergraduate program) are to complete an online application form. The only documentation IMS will require of such non-degree applicants is an official transcript. To register as this type of student for MSC7000Y (which is a 1.0 "full course equivalent"), please contact IMS at U of T to determine tuition fees set by the University of Toronto.
