ENROLLMENT GUIDELINES

Enrollment is limited to 20 students at the University of Toronto and 20 students from the Stem Cell Network for 2010-2011!

Registration begins at University of Toronto on August 9, 2010!
Deadline date for SCN Trainees - August 15, 2010!

SCN TRAINEES!
To enroll for credit please e-mail Sophie Charge to confirm if spaces are still available and do one of the following four options.

  1. If you are at the University of Toronto: You should enroll for the class (MSC 7000Y) as you normally would for any course offered by University of Toronto via ROSI.
  2. If you are at another Ontario University: You will need to complete an Ontario Visiting Graduate Student Program Application to enroll in the course without paying additional tuition.  Applicants from the University of Ottawa and McMaster University may want to contact Dr. Rudnicki or Dr. Gauldie respectively, both of whom have had students participate in this program in previous years.
  3. If you are at UBC, McGill, or the University of Montreal: You will need to complete an application for the Graduate Exchange Program between the University of Toronto and your school to complete the course without paying additional tuition.
  4. If you are none of the above:  You will need to complete an application for a Canadian Universities Graduate Transfer Agreement (CUGTA).  While the specific approval procedures vary from school to school, students will normally register with U of T as non-degree special student and new this year there is no required per course fee as it is part of the CIHR Strategic Training Grants Program.

If you are not at the University of Toronto, the application form must be signed by one or more officials at the University of Toronto.  The Stem Cell Network is coordinating the execution of all of the SCN agreements for this course by the University of Toronto.   SCN trainees will be sent specific details of this procedure when space confirmation is available for the course.
